TERMS and CONDITIONS of REGISTRATION
By proceeding with your registration as a player, coach, manager or volunteer of the Earlwood Wanderers Football Club Inc. (‘EWFC’) you agree to be bound by the rules, regulations and final decisions set by the Committee of EWFC.
EWFC is committed to a safe, inclusive and family-friendly football environment, with zero tolerance for abuse, discrimination, harassment or violence.
As a player, coach, manager or volunteer, you have declared that:
● You not under suspension by any sporting organisation;
● You have not contracted or signed to play for any other Football Club this year;
● You are duly qualified to play for the team according to the rules of Football Canterbury (‘FC’);
● There are no monies or property owing by you to any club or association;
● The details as shown in your submitted registration are correct and true;
● You agree to EWFC and FC using your image for marketing and promotional purposes;
● You agree to EWFC and/or other clubs recording and sharing games you participate in for legitimate club and association purposes (e.g. coaching, analysis, promotion and archives)
● For volunteer roles involving children, you hold a valid Working With Children Check and have provided the details during registration.
You have read the rules and codes of conduct of Football Australia (‘FA’) and FC, available at https://www.footballcanterbury.com.au/resources/ and will abide by these rules and any decision(s) of FA and FC.
You have read and understood the EWFC Participant Code of Conduct and the EWFC Parents and
Spectators Code of Conduct.
You have ensured that your child (if applicable) also understands the
EWFC Participant Code of Conduct.
These codes apply to all players, parents/guardians, spectators, volunteers, coaches and officials associated with EWFC.
Breach of these codes may result in action by the EWFC disciplinary
committee and/or Football Canterbury, including warnings, suspension, fines or deregistration, in line with FA and FC policies. Concerns or breaches should be raised with the Coach and Manager in the first instance and escalated to the Club Secretary in writing.
You agree not to disclose participant information provided to you by EWFC to any person or group outside of the Committee and Management of EWFC, Football Canterbury (FC), Canterbury
Referees Association (CRA), and Football NSW, unless required to do so by law.
You acknowledge that official team football activities, including training and trial matches, cannot commence until formal approval is issued by the authorised EWFC committee member.
Player insurance is void unless training, trials, and football activities are formally sanctioned.
To protect players and coaches/managers, no football activity is to begin prior to receiving approval from the authorised EWFC committee member.
You acknowledge that EWFC is a community club, powered by volunteers.
Players and parents across all age groups are expected to contribute to the running of the club by assisting where needed; including at EWFC events, in canteens, field setup and pack-down, as ground officials, as well as coaching and managing teams.
