Earlwood Wanderers Soccer Football Club Inc (ABN 42 148 043 929) is a registered incorporated association that operates a community football club in Earlwood, New South Wales, Australia.

Earlwood Wanderers Soccer Football Club Inc (EWFC) is committed to managing your information in a secure and responsible manner and in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian

EWFC collects, uses and discloses your personal information for the purpose of registering you as a player, coach, manager, volunteer or member.

The types of personal information held by EWFC may include your full name, birth date, gender, contact number, email address, residential address, working with children check and identification numbers.

Collecting your personal information

Your personal information is collected through completion of the respective registration form to become a player, coach, manager, volunteer or member of EWFC. This registration form is supplied by DRIBL. DRIBL’s privacy policy can be viewed here.

Using your personal information

EWFC may use your personal information in the following ways:

  • To verify your identity
  • To process your registration for participation in football competitions
  • To maintain a register of current and historic players, coaches, managers, volunteers and members
  • To contact you about relevant events and activities related to the organisation of football teams within the club, such as registration days, grading, team allocation, training, fixtures and other club notices.

Disclosing your personal information

EWFC must share your personal information with the following third parties in order to officially register you as a player, coach, manager, volunteer or member:

  • Canterbury and District Soccer Football Association (CDSFA)
  • Football New South Wales (FNSW)
  • Football Australia

EWFC may share parts of your personal information, such as your full name, contact details and team allocation, with organisations we have partnered with to provide services to you, such as photography and trophies. These organisations only receive the data that is necessary to deliver the service to you.

Protecting your personal information

EWFC takes the security of personal information very seriously and takes reasonable steps to protect the security and privacy of your personal information. EWFC has directed its staff that personal information must be dealt with in accordance with this Policy and kept secure from unauthorised access or disclosure.

Access to your personal information

You have the right to access the personal information EWFC holds about you, and can request the correction of your personal data if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
